About FFOptimizer

Projections built for how fantasy football actually works

FFOptimizer is a free half-PPR projection and rankings site from Cyber Analyzer Labs. We help managers move beyond a single black-box number — with clear weekly boards, position rankings, and explainable opportunity-first thinking.

Opportunity first

We focus on the parts of production that tend to persist — usage, opportunity, and role — before trusting flashy one-week efficiency.

Stability over noise

Hot yards-per-touch and TD rates bounce around. Our process is designed to avoid chasing last week’s luck at the expense of next week’s role.

Ranges, not a single number

Every skill player gets a floor, median, and ceiling view so you can plan for volatility — not just a point estimate.

Context vs the market

Where available, we show how our view compares to consensus so you can spot disagreement — and decide for yourself.

What you get

  • Weekly projections for QB, RB, WR, and TE under half-PPR, with sortable boards and consensus context when available.
  • Position rankings so you can draft, set lineups, and compare options quickly.
  • Articles that connect news and rankings chatter back to opportunity — not just headlines.
  • Optional tools (sign-in) for DFS lineup building and personal teams as the product grows.

Built with discipline

We evaluate projections against historical outcomes and market baselines before we trust them in production. Features and model updates have to earn their place — we don’t ship changes just because they sound clever. That research discipline is how we protect quality as the product grows.

Scoring default is half-PPR (0.5 points per reception). Team defense (DST), when shown, reflects consensus sources rather than our skill-position engine.

Our approach (high level)

Fantasy points are driven by how much opportunity a player gets and how efficiently they convert it. Opportunity is more stable week to week; efficiency is noisier. We design projections around that idea so managers can reason about role changes, injuries, and matchups — not only last week’s box score.

We keep implementation details proprietary. What matters for lineup decisions is on the boards: projected points, ranges, rankings, and consensus context.
